— Woodside Departure from SQL—
A primary focus for County staff is minimizing aircraft noise for our community. Please help us be a good neighbor by familiarizing yourself with our voluntary noise abatement procedures and flying friendly. When departing SQL’s Runway 30 or 12 and heading southwest, the Woodside Departure is the preferred procedure:
Departing SQL’s Runway 30
🛩️ Fly straight out until just past the diamond-shaped waterway
🛩️ Turn right downwind
🛩️ Continue downwind until abeam Woodside Road
🛩️ Turn right toward southwest.
Departing SQL’s Runway 12
🛩️ Turn left to 100°
🛩️ Continue upwind until abeam Woodside Road
🛩️ Turn right toward southwest.
